Tractian sells sensors and software for monitoring the health of industrial equipment. It describes itself as an 'Industrial Copilot' that combines IoT hardware with AI to detect failures and manage maintenance. Its stated aim is to cut unplanned downtime.
Tractian says its wireless sensors collect vibration up to 64kHz, ultrasound, temperature and RPM, and that they install without Wi-Fi or IT setup. It claims they can detect 30+ failure modes across 40+ asset types.
Tractian's CMMS page says the product adds sensor-based early failure detection and automatic work orders to a plant's existing maintenance system. It lists work order management, parts inventory management and preventive maintenance among its functions.
Tractian's site lists food and beverage, automotive, mining and metals, chemicals, oil and gas, and pulp and paper among its industries. Customers it names include Bosch, Hyundai, Cargill, Embraer and Nissan. In August 2026 a Brazilian news report said BNDES approved R$120.1 million for Tractian to develop robotic assistants for inspection and predictive maintenance.
